Ultimate Staffing has an immediate opening for a Die Maker at our client in Chesterfield, 1st shift, temp to hire, $25-35/hour

Progressive Die Maker responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
• Build new dies from tool steel and other materials
• Machine precision components using mills, grinders, EDMs, and lathes
• Assemble and fit die components
• Troubleshoot production issues
• Repair worn or damaged dies
• Modify dies to improve quality, speed, or tool life

The successful progressive die maker will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Blueprint reading skills
• Precision measuring skills
• Knowledge of metallurgy and metal forming
• Experience with CNC machining and EDM equipment
• Problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and tight tolerances
• 3-5 years as a progressive die maker in an automotive stamping environment
